I was born and raised here in St. Louis! My only sister Sarah lives a few streets away from me with her husband and my two nieces, Genevieve and Jolie. My dad is in the chilly state of Minnesota (Go Vikings!!!) and my mom lives in Kirkwood.
I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where I majored in Early Childhood and Elementary Education—MizzouRAH! I earned my gifted certification and my MA in Education and Innovation from Webster University. In the fall I’ll be finished with my Educational Technology Leadership, EdS, also from Webster—yay! This will be my ninth year teaching, sixth year in kindergarten.
In June I married Mr. Eagan so this will be my first year teaching as Mrs. Eagan! I have been a nanny for twelve years to an amazing family who I absolutely adore and you will hear a lot about my “BFFs,” Addison (12) and Ethan (9)—they are a special part of my life. You will also hear about my not-so-little fella, Carson, our Great Dane mix and Tori, our Golden Retriever. I love to cheer on the Mizzou Tigers, St. Louis Blues and Cardinals and the Minnesota Vikings! I enjoy doing crafts, working on projects around the house, spending time with my family/friends, traveling, sipping Starbucks on our screened in porch and spending weekends at the lake with the pups and Dan.
I pour my heart and soul into teaching and cannot wait to watch the Creative Clubhouse Crew learn and grow this year. We will work together as a team to reach our goals. You are going to LOVE being a Jaguar and we can’t wait for you to be a part of the Edgar Road Family!
